
Gregory Malkin J.D.
Gregory A. Malkin was born in Painesville Ohio and attended secondary school at North Olmsted High School. While attending high school he participated in the Post secondary Enrollment Option B program in which he was able to enroll at Lorain County Community College while attending high school. Prior to receiving his high school diploma he received his associate degree of liberal arts and his associate degree of science. Mr. Malkin then attended Bowling Green State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in May of 2005. He then attended the University of Toledo Law School where he graduated a semester early Cum Laude with his Juris Doctoral Degree in December of 2007. While attending the University of Toledo Law School Mr. Malkin clerked for a Lucas County Common Pleas Judge, and interned for The City of Toledo Public Defenders office. Mr. Malkin passed the Arizona Bar and was admitted to practice law in May of 2008. After his admission to practice law in Arizona Mr. Malkin started his own practice in May of 2008 which now has two associates, five paralegals, and two secretaries. He has and continues to practice many areas of law including: Bankruptcy, Family law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Estate planning, Landlord tenant disputes, Contract Review, Business planning, and Civil Defense. His primary focuses as of late have been Bankruptcy and Family Law.
Erica Sanchez
Erica Sanchez was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Sanchez attended the University of Texas at El Paso and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English Literature. She moved to Arizona and earned her J.D. from Arizona State University, College of Law in 2007. She is a member of the Arizona Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Arizona.
In 2008, Mrs. Sanchez began her employment with The Law Office of Malkin and Associates, she is an associate attorney. During her time with Malkin and Associates, Mrs. Sanchez was introduced into the world of Bankruptcy Law and has gained valuable experience as a bankruptcy attorney. Mrs. Sanchez has successfully assisted over 900 clients in attaining a fresh start through bankruptcy relief in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. Currently, Ms. Sanchez concentrates her practice exclusively in Bankruptcy Law.
As a first generation American, Mrs. Sanchez is fluent in Spanish and accommodates to the Spanish speaking public by providing translation services, a bilingual staff, and Spanish information packets and forms.
Kevin Vale J.D.
Kevin was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended St. Louis University on SLU Vision, Jesuit Education and Cincinnati scholarships and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology. Kevin graduated from the University of Toledo College of
Law in May of 2008.
While in law school, Kevin indulged his life-long enthusiasm for sports while working for the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance of the University of Toledo and with the NCAA clearinghouse to determine student-athlete eligibility. Kevin also mediated juvenile and small claims court cases and interned with the Office of the Public Defender in Toledo, OH where he assisted in the defense of criminal cases and represented clients in pre-trial proceedings. During his final year of law school, Kevin volunteered in the Pro Se Divorce clinic where he assisted self-represented litigants with their divorce proceedings. As a result of his work with the divorce clinic Kevin was awarded the Public Service Commendation.
Following his graduation from law school, Kevin moved to Arizona and was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in March 2009.
Prior to joining The Law Offices of Malkin & Associates, Kevin worked for other firms where he conducted discovery and assisted in trial preparation for federal fraud cases, prepared DUI, 4th, 5th and 6th amendment motions in criminal defense cases and conducted discovery for intellectual property and trade secret cases.
Since joining Malkin & Associates, Kevin has limited his practice to Family Law/Domestic Relations. Kevin works to assist clients in reaching their Family Law goals and finding solutions to their challenging legal situations.
